A former architect, I became interested in crafts after attending a crafts seminar. Being serious about my career, I decided to pursue my interest by taking formal training in woodwork and carving and attending various workshops. After completing my training, I decided to start my own workshop. Since I am an architect, it was easier for me to locate my market. Most of my works were appreciated by industry experts and my products found its way into the homes of the elite.
I started a home business that now took off into a full-fledged workshop. With a long client list all through referrals and word of mouth, I am now expanding my business globally. I wanted to share my success story and started to write articles on how to start a home based arts and crafts business in an aim to promote home makers and moms into this business so that they can earn some extra money for their expenses making them independent.
